The mission of RSRF is to fund, promote and accelerate biomedical research for the treatment and cure of Rett Syndrome.

RSRF funds research of established and junior investigators as well as post-doctoral fellows. Requests for proposals are announced each Fall. Furthermore we organize and sponsor an annual Rett Syndrome Symposium every June in Baltimore, MD. Our Symposium is the only annual scientific meeting devoted exclusively to Rett Syndrome.

RSRF encourages and facilitates the sharing of reagents and data so that basic science discoveries can be translated into clinical applications as quickly as possible.

We welcome feedback from the scientific community regarding how RSRF can best fulfill its mission. Comments should be sent to Monica Coenraads, RSRF Director of Research, monica@rsrf.org

Although RSRF has a timeline for proposal submission, exceptional projects, particularly those with clinical applications, will be accepted and reviewed at any time. Please contact Monica Coenraads for information.
