Dr. Huda Zoghbi and Rett Syndrome Featured in New York Times Article

The Science section of today's New York Times features A Conversation with Huda Zoghbi by Claudia Dreifus. Dr. Huda Zoghbi, of Baylor College of Medicine, discovered in 1999 that mutations in the MECP2 gene are the leading cause of Rett Syndrome. Dr. Zoghbi has an extensive research program focused on understanding the disorder and developing treatments. RSRF has financially supported the Zoghbi lab through a post-doctoral fellowship and two G.E.A.R. (Grants of Excellence to Accelerate Rett Research) awards totaling nearly $750,000.
